I write to express my appreciation of the efforts of Helene Stewart and her team from Leishman Associates as the organisers of the 2017 Economic Society Annual Conference in Sydney .. Many of the delegates commented on how smoothly everything ran, and their efficiency and good sense made my job easier as Chair of the Organising Committee. Particularly as I was overseas for the two weeks before the conference, and they took much of the load during this time .. Particularly :their handling of the conference finances. I would happily recommend Leishman to others running major conferences.
