Choice Home Loans Annual Conferences, 2003 - 2007
A three day conference of 200 + in-house and independent mortgage brokers, rotating between Australian and New Zealand locations – Melbourne 2003, Gold Coast 2004, Christchurch, NZ, 2005, Sunshine Coast, Queensland 2006. Program includes plenary and breakout sessions, a major social component; and small exhibition. Leishman Associates have been appointed to manage the Conference for a three year period to 2007.
Leading Lifelong Learning Conference, 2005A major undertaking by the Tasmanian Department of Education, a ten-day conference, delivered concurrently at three locations throughout the State. The Conference attracted 4500 teachers and educationalists registrations from around Australia. The program featured national and international presenters from the education profession. Leishman Associates were appointed following a nationwide tender process.
Tasmanian Principals Conference, 2005, 2006The inaugural statewide conference of the newly combined associations, the event focussed on the issues relating to management and leadership within education in Tasmania. The inaugural conference in Hobart attracted 220 delegates. Leishman Associates have been reappointed to manage the 2006 conference.
Australian National Committee of Large Dams (ANCOLD), 2003 - 2006Organised by the prime body within the dams industry, the conference attracts 200 + delegates to locations throughout Australia. Leishman Associates managed the 2003 and 2004 events in Hobart and Melbourne respectively, and have now been appointed as conference managers to 2006. The technical conference is held over two days, and includes plenary technical sessions, technical workshop day and trade exhibition plus a pre and post conference touring program.
The Master Builders State Conference, 2005, 2006A local event for building and construction delegates, the program is be based on plenary and breakout sessions. Also included is a social program and trade exhibition. The 2005 and 2006 conferences are held in Launceston.
Australian Marketing Institute, 2005Held in Launceston, the first Tasmanian conference of the AMI was hugely successful attracting many high profile speakers. A full scale program taking in unique venues from the north of the state.
Australasian Society of Aerospace Medicine, 2005, 2006, 2007Appointed following a nationwide tender process, the 2005 conference was held on the Gold Coast and attracted record numbers. Leishman Associates were reappointed for a two year period to manage the 2006 and 2007 conferences
Australian Military Medicine Conference, 1996 - 2006Held annually and managed by Leishman Associates since 1996, this conference attracts 150 defence medical practitioners and specialists together with other health practitioners with an interest in military medicine. Conference locations have included Sydney, Tasmania, Gold Coast, Adelaide, and Canberra.
Health & Community Care, 2005Annual state conference of managers, specialists, carers and providers within the community care sector. The conference located at Burnie in the NW of the State and held over two days, attracted 200 + attending both plenary and breakout sessions.
Australasian Radiation Protection Society National Conference, 2003 & 2005, 2006, 2007Managed by Leishman Associates in 2003 in Hobart, and then invited back to manage the 2005 conference in Melbourne, and then appointed for another two years through till 2007. This conference attracts 100 national and international delegates, and features two international speakers. Includes a trade component and social program.
Pharmacy Womenʼs Congress, 2005The second conference of its kind held, the Tasmanian conference attracted 160 delegates to Wrest Point Conference Centre, Hobart for two days of meetings. Program includes plenary and breakout sessions; social program and trade exhibition.
BIG4 Holiday Parks 2005, 2006Appointed with a very short lead time, this conference consisted of a three day program, major social functions on three days, optional activities during the conference. It attracted partners and featured a Kids Club.
